Poison gas made its debut as a major weapon of war at Ypres in April 1915, and remained as an oft-maligned, rarely used member of most countries’ arsenals for much of the twentieth century. Learn about the promise and perils of this weapon, and the innovations whose development its existence spurred at this lecture presented by Jeff Smart, Command Historian, RDECOM. Admission is free & seating is limited. To reserve a seat, email haysheighe@Harford.edu or call 443.412.2539.
